Job Description:

Piping Designers and Engineers are sought after to spearhead the development of piping systems for utility power and water, petrochemical industries, and renewable energy projects. A key player in ensuring the efficient operation of these systems will be responsible for conducting front-end engineering design (FEED) and basic design.

  • Develop and create detailed 2D and 3D layouts for piping systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure a harmonious integration of various systems.">
  • Prepare technical proposals and specifications, and review designs for compliance with industry standards and codes.">
  • Perform risk assessments to mitigate potential issues associated with thermal expansion, vibration, and pressure changes.">

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Designing and developing piping systems to meet project requirements.">
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors to procure necessary materials and components.">
  • Conducting inspections to ensure that installations meet quality and safety standards.">
  • Providing technical support during construction phases and resolving any piping-related issues that may arise.">
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports related to piping activities.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.">
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in piping design and layout, preferably in the energy sector.">
  • Experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects is an added advantage.">
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and PDMS.">
  • Knowledge of relevant piping codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).">
