Automotive Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Engineer to fill a challenging and rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle mechanics and be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles efficiently and safely.

This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, conducting routine maintenance, and repairing or replacing faulty components in the engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.

  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
  • Repair or replace faulty components in the engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
  • Inspect, test, and repair electrical and electronic systems.
  • Conduct test drives to verify the success of repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Automotive Technician, a strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques, and the ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment.

They should also have hands-on experience in engine repairs, transmission work, and suspension maintenance, and be able to interpret service manuals and technical diagrams.

In addition, they should have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and be physically fit and able to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced environment.

Automotive Technician Certification (NITEC, WSQ, or equivalent) is an advantage, as is experience with Hybrid & Electric Vehicles, familiarity with European, Japanese, or Continental vehicles, and a clean driving record.
