Job Opportunity: Technical Program Manager

The role of a Technical Program Manager is to oversee and manage complex projects from start to finish. This involves leading cross-functional teams, planning requirements, identifying risks, managing project schedules, and communicating with stakeholders.

This position requires technical expertise and the ability to lead strategic initiatives. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing data-driven insights and translating them into executable commercial solutions for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support data center campus development in collaboration with regional delivery teams.\
  • Provide quality-control services and own domain-specific elements within water and wastewater utility infrastructure related commercial agreements.\
  • Serve as a water and wastewater utility infrastructure lead for Google data centers during due-diligence and design stages of project development.\
  • Lead technical direction and strategy of utility projects during design and oversee commercial and technical direction of advanced utility projects during construction.\
  • Define and explore opportunities for water reuse and water sustainability technologies.\
  • Manage relationships and lead mission-critical utility infrastructure projects.\
  • Develop on their own data-driven technical insights and translate into executable commercial solutions for the business at large.\
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and coordination between engineering and commercial teams.\
  • Implement feasibility studies, value engineering, and risk evaluations of water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects.\
  • Raise awareness about the importance of utility procurement and capacity solutions.\
  • Engage with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules.\
  • Analyze and present project performance and progress to senior management.\
  • Implement cost and schedule optimization strategies to meet business objectives.\
  • Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers and vendors.\
  • Advise on infrastructure-related commercial agreements and negotiate contracts.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.\
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth and profitability.\
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company.\
  • Represent the company's interests in negotiations and discussions with external parties.\
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.\
  • Monitor and report on project progress, issues, and risks.\
  • Utilize data analytics and tools to inform business decisions.\
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.\\
