Job Summary

The role of a Water Technician involves providing technical support for the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems. This includes performing daily checks on equipment and systems, conducting water analysis, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily mending of SCADA for UPW, WWTP & PCW system
  • Perform daily water analysis for UPW, WWTP & PCW system
  • Perform daily checking/inpection for equipment/system
  • Perform daily operational consumables replenishment
  • Perform daily scheduled/routine equipment maintenance
  • Perform monthly samples submission for legal compliances
  • Execute project installation, machine modifications and productivity improvements
  • Conduct operational training and maintenance guidance for new joined members
  • Submit daily, weekly, monthly reports to supervisor on time
  • Ensure compliance to ISO Operating Procedures with Safe Practices

Requirements:

Applicants should have a minimum NTC/ITC/NiTEC/HNiTEC in Mechanical/Mechatronics with or without relevant experience. Experience in using SCADA system for process control; in Annual Plant Maintenance; in ISO/RBA audits; in NEA/PUB audits would be an advantage. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Laboratory testing experience and willingness to work in cleanroom environment are preferred qualifications.

Skills and Knowledge:

">

Applicants should possess skills and knowledge in drainage, plant maintenance, water analysis, water treatment, ISO, consumables, SCADA, equipment maintenance, compliance, audits, process control, laboratory, and computer literacy.
