Job Description

This role is responsible for identifying and addressing policy violative content and users (bad actors) on our content platform. The Analyst will work closely with several teams to identify risky trends early and develop technical detection strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mitigate ongoing risks by developing and implementing tactical strategies and methods to detect and enforce risky content at scale across entities.
  • Investigate risky Livestreams and understand the abuse landscape, uncovering key insights towards drivers/incentives of abuse, methods to acquire content, gaps in enforcement, etc.
  • Provide rapid incident response for risks during escalations, operating with minimal guidance; analyze and draw conclusions on root-causes and define and implement mitigation steps.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Additionally, you should have experience or demonstrated interest in content policy and/or anti-abuse operations at scale.

  • Experience with creating metrics to measure performance of models, building dashboards, and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin; translation and communication will be necessary.
  • Experience with Livestream or User-generated Content.
  • Ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
  • Resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
