About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility and engineering studies, reviewing design submissions, and carrying out detailed civil and structural design for road and rail projects. You will also manage design consultants, conduct project safety reviews, and construction audits for major infrastructure projects.



Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct feasibility and engineering studies for bridge engineering and structures projects
  • Review design submissions and carry out detailed civil and structural design for road and rail projects
  • Manage design consultants and conduct project safety reviews and construction audits
  • Provide technical support to construction teams and other LTA technical divisions


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Engineering design is also required, with knowledge in structural design and construction of underground engineering works, bridges, and rail. Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects, good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
