As a key member of our Southeast Asia team, you will be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

This position involves maintaining and building relationships with Southeast Asia policymakers and political figures, identifying and analyzing policy issues affecting Roblox in the region, developing and executing policy strategies around issues important to Roblox, and advising internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and build relationships with SEA policymakers and political figures.
  • Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox.
  • Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of working with policymakers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia. You should have a deep understanding of the policymaking process in the region, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
  • Deep knowledge of the Southeast Asia policymaking and public opinion process.
  • Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Passionate about public policy issues in Southeast Asia.
  • A solutions-driven and results-oriented strategic thinker.
  • A dynamic and engaging presenter with stellar oral delivery.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to define your own work and processes.
  • A team player, who values collaboration and partnership.
