Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Fitting professional to fill this key position, responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems across various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and piping diagrams accurately.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes in accordance with project specifications precisely.
  • Assemble and secure pipes using welding, soldering, brazing, and cementing techniques efficiently.
  • Install pipes, valves, and fittings onto walls, tanks, and other structures safely.
  • Inspect and test piping systems using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing methods effectively.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies strictly.
  • Operate specialized tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, and bending machines proficiently.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members collaboratively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Higher National Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • BCSS / CSOC certification required for this role.
  • Certifications in Work at Height, Scissor Lift, and Manhole Safety preferred but not essential.
Skills & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in pipefitting or a related trade.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in using pipefitting tools effectively.
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in demanding environments consistently.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair piping issues efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and a responsible, detail-oriented work attitude.
