Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the Department of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore.

This two-year position is funded by a grant on the ethics and evolution of punishment, with principal investigator Ryan Chisholm from the department of biology and co-investigators Ben Blumson from the department of philosophy and Shang-Long Yeo from the Center for Biomedical Ethics. Applications from candidates specialising in ethics or philosophy of biology are especially encouraged. An interest in game-theory would also be welcome.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our research team, contribute to the development of innovative research projects, and publish papers in top-tier academic journals.

About the Role

The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for:

  • Conducting original research in the area of ethics and evolution of punishment
  • Collaborating with the research team to design and implement research projects
  • Developing and publishing research papers in top-tier academic journals
  • Presenting research findings at international conferences
Qualifications
