Job Summary

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Behaviour Therapist to join our team. As a key member of the organisation, you will be responsible for creating and implementing personalised intervention plans using evidence-based therapies.

You will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to track client progress and update intervention plans to achieve desired outcomes.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is committed to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement personalised intervention plans using evidence-based therapies
  • Work with clients, families, and healthcare professionals for coordinated and effective care
  • Track client progress and update intervention plans to reach desired outcomes
  • Keep detailed and accurate records, including progress notes and treatment documentation
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in behaviour therapy
Requirements:
  • Nitec in Special Education or Education of Psychology
  • Strong understanding of best practices in inclusive and special education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Experience with autistic children/preschoolers is preferred
  • Prior experience applying ABA principles is preferred
  • Immediate availability is an advantage
