Hydrogen Embrittlement Research Officer

This is a key position in our research team, responsible for leading the project on microstructural tailoring for enhanced hydrogen embrittlement resistance.

The successful candidate will participate in the conduct of research projects with research team members to ensure completion of deliverables, including preparing TEM specimens, conducting failure analysis, and maintaining lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the conduct of research project with research team members to ensure completion of deliverables
  • Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers
  • Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in similar role / technical hands-on experience in specific scope
  • Familiarity with required scope (e.g. national codes and standards)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skill
