We are looking for a highly skilled back end software developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying scalable, reliable and secure back end systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Scala or Kotlin programming languages and a strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns and best practices. They will also have expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data migrations and message brokers or event-driven architectures.

This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing back end systems for performance, maintaining code quality and consistency, creating technical documentation and enhancing engineering processes and standards.

Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of professional software development experience
  2. Proficiency in Java, Scala or Kotlin
  3. Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns and best practices
  4. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data migrations
  5. Familiarity with message brokers or event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  6. Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes
  7. Experience with Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and deploying services at the infrastructural level
