Respiratory Therapist Job Summary

Job Description:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide top-notch care services to patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and disorders. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patient respiratory status, recommending, implementing and evaluating appropriate therapy.

You will plan, evaluate and implement diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to aid and assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for the inventory, care and maintenance of respiratory-related equipment and collaborate with the Respiratory Therapy Department on general functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree from a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy, preferably with Registration for Respiratory Therapists (Certification Exam)
  • Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) preferred
  • At least 2 years of adult multi-disciplinary critical care experience
