Our client, a renowned organisation in the Healthcare Sector, is seeking an experienced and registered Locum Pharmacist.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the Out-patients Pharmacy to meet efficient production and service standards.
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in reviewing written order forms to determine the drug needs of the patient.
- Follow prescriptions as ordered by the attending physician by adhering to correct measured amounts of medication, compounding medications, and preparing solutions and additives.
- Explain directions for prescription use to patients.
- Inform prescribers of any drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, or contraindications.
- Maintain a shelf inventory of medications and pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring that storage is in accordance with security, environmental, and product shelf-life parameters.
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and in a team.
This is an immediate and flexible opportunity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in pharmacy education and development programmes and perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
Working hours are 5 days per week.
