Broad Functions: To assist the Technical Engineering Section Manager in overseeing the management of Technical Engineering and Maintenance activities.
- Responsible for developing and implementing Plant Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) / Corrective Maintenance (CM).
- Oversee daily PM/CM activities, drawing updates, vendor evaluations, equipment-related matters, monitoring new tools and technology.
- Responsible for training and developing old/new technicians in technical works.
- Establish and monitor programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring techniques.
- Optimize maintenance strategies for cost-effective benefits.
- Attend to ECR meetings, follow action items and process/equipment improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors on technical issues.
- Present and attend to equipment troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Good presentation skills to share and brief coworkers and management.
- Digital control system and PLC-related troubleshooting knowledge.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation.
- Able to carry out hands-on work.
- Leadership and supervision skills to guide team members.
- Independent individual that does not require close supervision.
- Positive working attitude.
- Will to learn new things.
- Self-motivated to identify problems and solutions.
