
Project Coordinator Role

The role of the project coordinator is to support the successful implementation of a data loss prevention (DLP) project. This involves coordinating with stakeholders, planning and logistics, distributing project-related materials, and reviewing stakeholder inputs.
Key responsibilities include coordination with stakeholders relevant to DLP project implementation, coordinate planning and logistics with APAC stakeholders, distribute project-related materials and surveys, review stakeholder inputs for completeness and escalate any gaps or inconsistencies to the DLP project team, respond to queries from stakeholders pertaining to DLP project implementation, develop a working understanding of DLP system functionalities (web and email) to support rollout communications, act as a point of contact for business units and support functions regarding rollout-related queries and provide timely support, facilitate effective communication between the DLP project team and regional offices to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution, assist the DLP project team and manager with day-to-day coordination tasks and internal reporting, and support ad-hoc activities related to the DLP project, including documentation, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
This role requires excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, good written and visual presentation skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, self-motivation, and adaptability to new changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Understanding and operation of Information Security relevant system.
- Experience in Financial service would be preferred.
- Prior exposure to DLP system or similar data protection platforms is an advantage.
- Experience supporting regional rollouts or cross-functional projects is an advantage.
- Interpersonal and analytical skills attributes.
- Good written and visual presentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and takes initiatives to collaborate and challenge status quo, and adaptable to embrace new changes.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum instructions and source for information, systematically evaluate options and recommend solutions.
