Job Summary

S M C Nutrition Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microbiology Laboratory Executive to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Testing and Analysis: Accurately and safely perform timely testing of routine and non-routine lab samples in accordance with appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety guidelines.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Accurately maintain laboratory record system of submitted samples, compile, analyze, evaluate, and prepare reports.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Recognize deviations from procedures, methods, etc., and initiate an investigation as required. Prepare certificate of analysis (COA), certificate of ingredients (COI), and health certificate.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of all laboratory supplies and consumables, monitor and control inventory, and raise purchase requests.
  • Training and Development: Maintain competency in all trained areas and engage in training exercises to fulfill compliance requirements.
  • Sample Retention and Management: Manage the sample retention room and perform all related works as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong computer aptitude, meticulous, conscientious, and systematic. Ability to work well with others, understand statistical tools and analysis, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, alternate Saturday, 8am to 12noon, Sunday: Rest Day.
Additional Information

The position is full-time non-remote, Monday through Friday, alternate Saturday, with flexibility to support weekends on occasion.
