Job Title: Reinforcement Team Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Reinforcement Team Lead to oversee and coordinate all reinforcement works on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all steel reinforcement work is carried out according to structural drawings, specifications, quality standards, and within the project timeline.

The key objectives of this role include:

  • Supervising a team of rebar workers in cutting, bending, and fixing reinforcement bars
  • Ensuring rebar work complies with structural drawings and project specifications
  • Coordinating with site engineers, foremen, and other trade supervisors to plan work sequences
  • Monitoring daily progress, manpower allocation, and material usage
  • Inspecting and verifying rebar sizes, spacing, alignment, and tying methods before concreting
  • Maintaining site safety and ensuring workers follow Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations
  • Resolving on-site technical or manpower issues promptly
  • Keeping accurate records of work progress, materials received/used, and manpower attendance
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), and construction drawings, as well as at least 3–5 years relevant experience in rebar installation supervision. Strong leadership and negotiation skills are also essential for success in this role.
