Dental Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists, hygienists, and therapists in general dentistry
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of dental instruments and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices and maintain high standards
  • Provide patient education on dental care and post-operative instructions
  • Assist with patient charting and record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: N/O/A Levels/NITEC in Dental Assisting
  • Relevant experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems
