Job Title: Tax Compliance Specialist

Job Description

The role involves managing tax reporting processes for various international agreements to ensure compliance with global tax regulations.

This includes developing and maintaining controls for accurate and compliant client data reporting, as well as assessing and monitoring risks associated with tax reporting processes.

Effective communication with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and alignment with internal controls.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with excellent collaboration skills.

A strong knowledge of MS Word is also essential.

Fraud Detection and Prevention:

  • Develop tailored fraud detection and prevention strategies for the Asian region.
  • Evaluate fraud risk across the region, identifying emerging vulnerabilities and trends.

Tax Compliance:

  • Manage tax reporting processes for FATCA, CRS, and USW.
  • Offer guidance on regulatory updates and changes as a regional subject matter expert in client tax compliance.

Internal Controls:

  • Collaborate with the fraud risk team to identify control gaps and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with legal, compliance, finance, and other departments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in fraud detection and prevention, tax compliance, and internal controls. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A strong knowledge of MS Word is also required.
