Job Title: Youth Development Associate

As a youth development associate, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive needs assessments to identify areas of support and development. This includes evaluating and managing risks to ensure the well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify key areas of support and development.
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate various programs to meet the diverse needs of residents.
  • Evaluate group work outcomes using assessment tools and make data-driven decisions.
  • Create and implement group processes and specialized intervention strategies to promote positive change.
  • Assess and review group therapy sessions to ensure they are meeting the needs of residents.
  • Support case management by preparing for and attending all necessary case-related meetings, and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Social Sciences or related field with experience in mentoring and working with youths.
  • Prior experience working with youth-at-risk is highly desirable.
  • Strong engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Good knowledge and experience with social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
