Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the National University Health System Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of drugs in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and courteous service to patients and customers
  • Process medication orders and prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients
  • Pick, pack, and label medications in accordance with hospital policies and guidelines
  • Perform billing functions and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and activities
Inventory Management:
  • Ensure stocks are properly stocked and stored according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirements
  • Perform topping up of omnicell ward stock in respective wards
  • Verify correct receiving of goods and perform secondary repackaging/redressing
  • Conduct cycle counts and stock takes periodically
Dispensing:
  • Dispense medications to patients in accordance with hospital policies and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Possess Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
  • Completed Basic Skill Test or Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC)
  • Have initiative and ability to work independently to achieve department goals
  • Able to communicate effectively and function effectively as a team member
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays occasionally
