About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Collins Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional inspection using a variety of gages and equipment, adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports when products do not meet engineering requirements, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection stamping and quality paperwork.
  • Promote 5S standards on workstations and responsible areas, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing updates and insights to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • NITEC/Higher NITEC qualification in Precision/Mechanical Engineering or higher is mandatory.
  • CMM programming experience is preferred, as is proficiency in using hand gages, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a quality control environment is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong understanding of basic technical drawings (GD&T) and ability to interpret them accurately.
  • Proficiency in operating Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), specifically Carl Zeiss/Wenzel CMMs.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with experience in SAP an added advantage.
