Job Title: Scientific Instrument Service Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced service expert to join our team. As a scientific instrument service specialist, you will be responsible for providing installation, commissioning, training, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.

You will also liaise with customers to address service concerns and provide solutions to technical problems. Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service support is crucial in this role.

Your expertise in servicing scientific analytical instruments will enable you to identify potential opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts. Collaborating closely with internal sales and technical teams will be essential in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of scientific analytical instruments
  • Providing training to end users and distributors
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of scientific analytical instruments
  • Liaising with customers to address service concerns and provide solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Electronics Engineering. A minimum of 2-4+ years' experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments is required.

Knowledge of scientific and analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzer, X-ray Fluorescence, Spectroscopy, ICP Spectrometer is highly desirable.
