About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Freight Export Coordinator at DSV Road GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing ocean export operational activities such as document processing, consolidation, and transshipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange booking with FCL and LCL carriers.
  • Assign transshipment into export leg consol file in the CW1 system.
  • Plan consolidation containers, ensuring that DSV consolidation loading is optimized, considering operational and financial factors.
  • Monitor shipment arrival and departure using the carrier and an online portal.
  • Arrange for trucking and loading of containers with CFS operators.
  • Ensure that all hazardous cargo arrangements and procedures are in accordance with company policy.
  • File AMS / ACI as needed.
  • Issue BL and shipping certificates as needed.
  • Adhere to all destinations' SOPs.
  • Comply with irregularity handling procedures with the origin and destinations.
  • Ensure that shipment costs are correctly accrued in CW1. Verify vendor/intercompany invoices and file disputes for any that are incorrect.
  • Ensure timely invoicing of shipments in accordance with company KPIs.
  • Check, update, close, and archive files accurately within the defined KPIs.
  • Provide backup for other team members when necessary.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks assigned by the superior.
  • Recommend improvements to your superior and escalate operational service failures.
  • Ensure that all security arrangements and procedures adhere to company policy.
  • Adhere to the DSV Group's Code of Conduct policy.
  • At all times, promote, present, and adhere to DSV's professionalism and policies.
Requirements
  • Diploma and above.
  • Experience in LCL consolidation/deconsolidation operation.
  • Proven track record of a minimum of 3 years in the sea freight industry.
