Job Title: Garment Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our organization in Singapore.

As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to laundry processing, including sorting, pressing, and packing garments.

  • Inspect laundry for stains and damages prior to wash.
  • Sort, record/photograph, and tag laundry for dry clean and laundry.
  • Use computer to tag the garments.
  • Steam, iron, and blow garment using commercial pressing equipment.
  • Operate machines to aid in the pressing & ironing process.
  • Carry out quality checks on garments.
  • Pack garments according to instructions.
  • Hang and/or fold garments according to instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • No experience required; training will be provided.
  • Teamwork.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Keen eye for material damages and discrepancies.
  • Able to read/write and communicate in basic English.
  • Integrity.
  • Able to use computer for Clothes Checker & Detailer (training will be provided).
