Job Title: Freight Transport Operator

We are seeking a skilled Freight Transport Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods from our warehouse to customers across the region.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • To operate heavy goods vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
  • To plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
  • To ensure that all goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • To maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate with customers regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 4 driving license.
  • A clean driving record with no serious offenses.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
