Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across long distances. This is a challenging role that requires strong navigation skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.
Your primary duties will include operating a commercial vehicle, managing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of deliveries, refuel the vehicle, and perform routine checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Additionally, you will be expected to follow all relevant traffic laws, report any incidents or accidents to the dispatcher, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a valid Class 4 driver's license, have a clean driving record, and be able to work flexible hours including overtime and public holidays. It is also essential to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
