Network Security Specialist

As a frontline defender of business operations, you will be empowered to solve complex problems, manage critical incidents, and build trust with every interaction.

This role requires exceptional technical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with senior technical teams to identify, assess, and document security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in client networks and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line technical support for network and Internet service applications via phone and email, adhering to strict SLAs.
  • Act as the primary owner of user incidents and service requests, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and timely resolution within our internal system.
  • Proactively identify and document security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in client networks and systems.
  • Prioritize incidents based on predefined severity levels and execute appropriate escalation procedures when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Foundational understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) and Internet applications (Email, Web, DNS).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Mac OS environments.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
