Job Description

 

As a seasoned risk management professional, you will play a vital role in safeguarding life, property and the environment. Your expertise will enable our customers to advance the safety and sustainability of their business.

 

We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance (QA/QC) and managing relevant projects. You will also collaborate with our DNV team to support sales activities and develop client-focused proposals.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 14 years' experience in risk management advisory with a strong consultant mindset. They will possess a solid understanding of QRA methodologies and tools, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

 

The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across groups and offices for shared goals. They will combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills and be adaptable and flexible in a changing environment.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 14 years' experience in risk management advisory with a strong consultant mindset
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Proven project management skills
  • Technical expertise on safety methodologies (QRA, FSA), asset risk management, RAM insight, Enterprise Risk Management, CFD (FLACS, KFX, etc.)
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Solid experience in the Safety & Risk area in both Maritime & Oil/Gas Industries
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to successful project outcomes
