Procurement Transformation Leader – Pharmaceutical Expertise

We are seeking a highly driven professional to lead procurement transformation and spearhead the implementation of efficient and compliant sourcing strategies across the ASEAN region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of procurement systems and workflows to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance in sourcing essential medical supplies and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business priorities, driving commercial value and cost savings.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle: identifying needs, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of pharmaceutical products.
  • Develop strong partnerships with suppliers and evaluate performance to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Mitigate procurement risks and ensure adherence to local laws, company policies, and ethical practices.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and platform deployment to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee central purchasing functions and maintain accurate inventory management across multiple locations.
  • Evaluate new drug entries and review institutional drug formularies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform data analysis and present insights to management to inform procurement decisions.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to streamline end-to-end procurement processes and ensure seamless delivery of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain relevant licenses.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the relevant authorities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain.
  • Experience in oncology products or services is an advantage.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
