Project Manager Job

As a vital component of the project team, you will support and assist the Design Manager in overseeing day-to-day project activities, ensuring seamless coordination with consultants and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting to ensure the optimal functioning of the design and technical team for major infrastructure projects, providing expert design and technical guidance to optimize design coordination and fulfill project requirements.
  • Coordinating with consultants to deal with clients using an integrated multi-disciplinary approach, ensuring complete integration with overall project requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Preparing and monitoring detailed schedules and targets for temporary and permanent works design submissions with consultants to meet construction program deadlines.
  • Optimizing design approaches to minimize construction costs.
  • Providing solutions for complex site issues and resolving technical discrepancies during project execution.
  • Supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution strategies with technical inputs.
  • Guiding and allocating tasks to senior design engineers and design engineers to support overall design requirements.

Job Specifications:

  • Recognized degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field, acceptable to the authorities as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, with 8 years in design for complex rail/road projects.
  • Experience in dealing with authorities/agencies submissions, regulatory compliance, and client communication.
  • Good leadership, communication, technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
