">Role Description
  • We're seeking talented engineers who can design, implement, and optimize machine learning systems for large-scale applications. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of recommendation algorithms that power social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-performance machine learning models that improve user acquisition efficiency and retention rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.
  • Analyze results from A/B tests and iterate on algorithmic improvements to enhance overall system performance.
Requirements
  1. Hands-on experience in one or more areas: recommender systems, machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, data mining, computer vision, NLP, causal inference, content understanding, or multimodal machine learning.
  2. Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++, along with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  3. Familiarity with mainstream machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch/MXNet.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for learning new techniques and tackling complex challenges.
Bonus Qualifications
  1. Prior industry experience with key components of recommendation systems (retrieval, ranking, re-ranking, cold-start) would be beneficial but not essential.
  2. Publication history at conferences such as KDD, NeurIPS, WWW, SIGIR, WSDM, CIKM, ICLR, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI, RecSys, or related events.
  3. Competitive track record in data mining, machine learning, or ACM-ICPC/NOI/IOI competitions.
  4. Participation in prominent public/open-source AI-related projects.
  5. Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.
