About the RoleThe role holder ensures seamless reconciliation processes and assists the manager in reviewing existing procedures to propose improvements. To achieve this, the role holder must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency within reconciliation by identifying control weaknesses and implementing corrective actions.
- Review existing end-to-end operational processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Document key processes, workflows, and controls in reconciliation to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Design, prepare, and automate management reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Develop expertise in reconciliation systems to ensure timely and complete transaction uploads.
- Perform reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts, ensuring all reconciling items are properly explained, followed-up, and closed within a reasonable timeframe.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the manager.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance operations within the financial industry.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
