Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of software developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals to ensure the successful delivery of blockchain-based trading systems.
  • Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting best practices in software development.
  • Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of projects and the application of best practices in software development.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of blockchain-based trading systems, maintaining high standards of software quality.
  • Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of the trading application, implementing and maintaining application monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of applications.
  • Manage an offshore team of 10 in China Region, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
  • Familiarity with trading systems, financial instruments, and market operations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in software development and application management, in the fintech or blockchain domain.
  • Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors, and counterparts on a daily basis.
  • Experience in managing a team of developers, BA, product managers, testing engineers in an offshore location.
