Key responsibilities include:

  1. Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of market risks related to derivatives products across entities, clients, and trading activities.
  2. Trend Analysis: Analyze market trends, price movements, and regulatory developments to assess their impact on our company's risk position and escalate findings to stakeholders as needed.
  3. Risk Metrics Development: Develop and implement risk metrics and monitoring tools tailored to the derivatives portfolio across relevant entities, clients, and trading activities.
  4. Stress Testing: Perform stress tests on the derivatives portfolio to evaluate resilience under adverse market conditions.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, especially those affecting derivatives trading, and update practices accordingly.
  6. Reporting: Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management, highlighting key exposures and trends.

Required qualifications include:

  • 10-16 years of experience in market risk management, with significant exposure to derivatives trading.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working at a major financial institution.
