Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in machinery and piping design, as well as a strong background in leadership. As a senior engineer, you will lead projects and teams, drive results, and make significant contributions to our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical systems and components independently and lead the section in projects
  • Assist the project lead in day-to-day operations and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Develop and implement quality and schedule plans for assigned mechanical tasks
  • Analyze and advise on design modes and standards to improve project outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with new regulations, rules, and industry developments
  • Report daily discipline metrics, including man-hours and schedules

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project team work progress and provide feedback
  • Train and guide junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Identify and resolve project issues under mechanical responsibility
  • Provide regular project design data reports
  • Attend and report in project and section meetings
  • Complete assigned tasks for project drawings or documents
  • Prepare and review marine machinery and piping calculations, specifications, and vendor drawings
  • Prepare and review marine machinery and piping 2D arrangements and schematic designs
  • Prepare and review marine machinery and piping 3D models and production site-related drawings
  • SUPPORT project section leads in technical issues
  • Coordinate with shipyards, consultants, and vendors
  • Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/Mechanical Technical Lead
  • Project Handling- New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in machinery and piping newbuilding design in the marine/offshore industry
  • Minimum 2 years of senior engineer above experience
  • Familiar with AutoCAD/MS office/Aveva
  • Familiar with Class rules, Statutory requirement
  • Good knowledge of machinery/piping/HVAC design
  • Good communication and analysis skill
