Senior Sourcing Specialist APAC

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Specialist APAC to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing our APAC supply base of finished goods in Softs categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a Pan-Asian supply base with assigned categories to deliver best-in-class product cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation for Cardinal Health branded products for North American and Canada markets.
- Identify potential suppliers and their capability for best cost and quality performance.
- Drive total cost improvement projects and meet assigned annual targets.
- Gather supply market intelligence and data analytics to support the development of category strategies.
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies to achieve best-in-class value, sustainable productivity, and high levels of quality and service aligned to applicable product category strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners in strategic sourcing project execution and management to effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage supplier performance and relationships.
- Participate in project management processes, drive product change requests, qualification, and validation processes to minimize supply risk and ensure on-time new product launches.
- Continuously assess supply risk and create a robust supply base.
- Ensure compliance with company business ethics and procedures and perform responsible procurement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Medical device industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with glove product project sourcing is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, preferably in a multinational company or global environment.
- Solid Strategic Sourcing capabilities, experienced in end-to-end sourcing scope, including supplier scouting, selection, contracting, negotiation, onboarding, life cycle management, value analysis and engineering, and executing sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams in Asia and the US.
- High fluency in Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Quick learner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and full of ownership.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment to deliver cost, quality, and service results in a timely manner.
