Nurse Specialist Interventional Radiology

As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will provide specialized direct and indirect nursing care and patient education through the management, coordination and evaluation of care activities for patients undergoing radiological procedures.
To optimize patient outcomes and experiences, you will guide and direct staff nurses and below to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The job entails performing objective assessments, evaluations and documentation of patients' conditions.
Complex procedures, both non-invasive and invasive within the scope of duties, are also performed by the successful candidate. Ensuring the safe delivery of patients pre-operatively from reception/recovery to the procedures and vice versa is crucial in this role.
Patient preparation for nuclear medicine imaging involves screening patients, setting IV cannulas and preparing IV medication, among other tasks. Maintaining principles of sterility and asepsis procedures and techniques when assisting procedures is vital.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
- Preferably 2 years of working experience in procedural areas
- Required to perform on-call duties
