At our esteemed healthcare organization, we seek a skilled Ayurvedic Medical Officer to join our dedicated team of medical professionals. This pivotal role involves providing primary medical care and support to patients, ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, implementing treatment plans, and closely monitoring patient progress. Effective collaboration with specialists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals is essential in this role. The officer will also admit patients to the hospital, oversee their care, order and interpret diagnostic tests, provide emergency medical care, and manage medical emergencies.

It is crucial for the appointed officer to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, participate in departmental meetings and training programs, and adhere to medical protocols and standards. Strong clinical knowledge, a good understanding of medical practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position.

Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degree and registration with the appropriate state medical council. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, along with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. A flexible approach to work schedule, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and adherence to medical ethics and confidentiality are also highly valued.
