Greenhouse Gas Budget Modeling PhD Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to contribute to our research team studying national and regional greenhouse gas budgets using top-down or bottom-up models. The successful candidate will have a strong background in atmospheric science, environmental engineering, geoscience, data science, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and apply top-down or bottom-up modeling tools (e.g., WRF, GEOS-Chem, LPJ, ORCHIDEE) to study greenhouse gas budgets
- Analyze large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Collaborate with the research team to identify research gaps and develop new projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in atmospheric science, environmental engineering, geoscience, data science, or a related field
- Experience with at least one relevant modeling tool
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, Fortran, Matlab, or a similar language
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills
