Project Coordinator Role Overview

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining site activities, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved work methods and safety protocols.
  2. Coordinate tasks with site personnel, monitor productivity, and guarantee resource availability.
  3. Track project progress, report daily activities to engineers and project managers, and provide updates on any issues or discrepancies.
  4. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution of works.
  5. Enforce site safety rules, conduct toolbox meetings, and report unsafe practices.
  6. Assist in resolving site-level conflicts or discrepancies in coordination with engineers.
  7. Perform quality checks on workmanship and ensure adherence to approved specifications.

Requirements:

  1. Degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or railway projects.
  3. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead site teams.
  4. Familiarity with LTA standards and workplace safety requirements.
  5. Possession of valid CSOC or BCSS certification.
