Who We Seek

The primary objective of this role is to oversee automation and process controls for all existing and new processes, aiming to reduce labor, minimize costs, and ensure quality. This position also entails developing programs and implementing controls for new processes established in Asia.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop budgets for regional automation initiatives.
  • Create timelines for regional automation projects.
  • Install and commission software and hardware for process automation, controls, and data acquisition.
  • Design and manage databases to gather quality control data and process performance metrics.
  • Evaluate existing processes, procedures, and equipment for automation and enhancement opportunities.
  • Collaborate in process improvement and design teams.
  • Stay updated on process control technologies to troubleshoot issues using innovative techniques and concepts.
Your Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
  • Demonstrated ownership in managing and leading automation projects, including installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various systems.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with cross-functional supply chain teams.
  • Possess strong ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
Essential Competencies
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, including exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Capability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Experience in designing, engineering, installing, testing, and maintaining automation and process control systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC, Ms. Visual Studio, AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and P&ID.
  • Electrical skills, experience with hand tools, and troubleshooting logic.
