Project Cost Management Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Project Cost Management Specialist to oversee the financial aspects of our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project budgets and ensuring that costs are accurately forecasted and controlled.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders from project documents and drawings.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure efficient delivery of projects that meet client requirements.
- Monitor and control project expenses to stay within budget.
- Perform regular valuations of work in progress and provide accurate forecasts of final costs.
- Review and approve contracts and valuations submitted by sub-contractors.
- Manage all financial data related to projects, including cost forecasting for labour, materials, and sub-contractors, to ensure budget compliance.
- Provide critical information to senior management for periodic reviews.
- Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in construction project cost management or a similar field.
- Proven track record in cost management and tender preparation would be beneficial.
