Logistics Expert

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven logistics professional to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that align with business objectives and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: Develop strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and improve efficiency.
  2. Forecasting and Capacity Management: Analyze demand and capacity requirements to ensure adequate resources and avoid bottlenecks.
  3. Supply Chain Network Optimization: Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to streamline the entire supply chain network.
  4. Distribution Network Design: Design and optimize distribution networks for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Third-Party Logistics Partnerships: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders.
  6. Transportation Operations Management: Oversee transportation operations including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment tracking.
  7. Inventory and Warehouse Management: Coordinate warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  8. Inventory Level Management: Implement inventory management techniques like just-in-time (JIT) and economic order quantity (EOQ).
  9. Cycle Counting and Audits: Conduct regular cycle counting and inventory audits to maintain accuracy and prevent stockouts.
  10. Warehouse Layout and Process Optimization: Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve productivity and reduce handling costs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
