Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at AUXILIARY CONSULTANT (AC). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing government agency accounts and software/system projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexible work arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management & Development:
  • Act as the key account manager for government agencies and software/system projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, from working-level personnel to decision-makers.
  • Drive business growth with existing accounts while actively developing new accounts.
  • Scout for public tender opportunities, coordinate tender submissions, and lead the process for selected tenders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (project management, R&D, operations) to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor government technology trends and propose strategies to keep the company ahead of these developments.
  • Responsible for sales budgeting and revenue forecasting for customer accounts.
  • Project Partners Development:
  • Build a network of external partners to complement the company's technical capabilities.
  • Identify and liaise with potential partners such as IT services, UI/UX designers, digital marketers, data analysts, and security consultants.
  • Lead partnerships to pursue and win collaborative projects.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree holder.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development or account management, particularly in software/system solutions for government accounts.
  • Proven track record in leading and driving government tender submissions.
  • Strong network in the ICT service industry.
  • Background or knowledge in IT, software, or cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Highly organized and capable of managing complex project requirements and deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of business contracts and agreements.
  • Interest in fast-paced ICT technologies.
  • Ability to build trust through action rather than words.
