Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Project Planning Manager to lead the development and coordination of project schedules and planning deliverables for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines using industry-standard software.
  • Develop baseline programmes, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project milestones in collaboration with the project team.
  • Integrate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into the master schedule.
  • Monitor schedule progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Track project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present regular planning reports, including lookahead schedules and delay analysis.
  • Identify scheduling risks, assess potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate change requests, variations, and extensions of time claims.
  • Support dispute resolution by providing detailed programme analysis.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of schedules.
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for planning-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' planning experience in infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing, civil works methodologies, and contractual requirements.
