Asset Care Specialist, Transportation

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asset Care Specialist, Transportation to join our team at GEODIS. In this role, you will oversee the execution of planned preventive maintenance programs and adhoc repair and replacement for 4 properties and 9 leased warehouses across Singapore.
You will lead project execution and activation of respective contractors and qualified persons for timely renewal of all statutory permits such as lift, signage, façade inspection, EMA, Fire Certificate.
The successful candidate will manage fire safety duties for assigned sites, including monthly tabulation and submission of electrical meters readings for all sites.
Key responsibilities include ensuring proper documentation and submission to quality auditors in preparation for internal and external audits, reviewing and signing off facilities checklists as per SOP, procuring inventories and tools for the technical team, and verifying permit to work forms and other required safety forms.
This position requires responding promptly to facilities breakdown/feedback and closing within 10 days or earlier as per SOP. Maintaining a zero safety accident and incident rate is critical.
Domestic travel is required, and being contactable via mobile or other means during office hours, and occasionally outside office hours, is necessary.
