The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, facilitate end-user training, and perform various network-related tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing timely and effective technical assistance to users via phone, email, onsite support or remote access
- Configuring, testing, and maintaining network-related operating systems, applications, software, and management tools
- Identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention
- Tracking and routing problems, requests, and documenting solutions along with logging all help desk interaction after every issue if necessary
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network system problems
- Assisting with the management and maintenance of the network infrastructure, such as switches and Wi-Fi access points
- Assisting in creating network and email accounts for new users
- Setting up computers for new users and guaranteeing fast delivery of tools to users in various locations if needed
- Conducting IT audit and certification process
- Assisting in drafting IT security and governance SOPs
- Facilitating end-user training to ensure correct usage of IT equipment for users
- Any other projects assigned by the manager
Preferred qualifications include experience with network operations, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. A strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and operating systems is also beneficial.
