Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed systems for internal analytics and operational use cases. In this role, you will be responsible for creating efficient data pipelines that enable real-time processing and fast data scheduling.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop reliable batch and stream data pipelines using tools like Kafka, Flink, or Spark.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to define and maintain internal data engineering tools, standards, and practices.
  • Contribute to automation and reliability improvements that reduce data latency and improve platform scalability.
  • Assist with integration of external (third-party) data sources and handle data quality and consistency concerns.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and BI teams to translate business requirements into engineering solutions.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer.
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE/CIS, or equivalent experience with knowledge of programming languages such as Kotlin / Java / Scala / Python / SQL.
  • Familiarity with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of Real-time/Batch processing systems.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and experience with data at PB scale.
